Shenzhen Vacation: 3 Weeks In China on Push.ca right HERE “China: skateboarding’s hottest travel destination, and our answer to getting sick of seeing Barcelona. That’s the elevator pitch at least, but it really takes the soul out of it. We went to China – we being a long list. AJ McCallister, Derek Swaim, Nick Moore, Corey Klim, Mike Campbell, Jason Gordon, Mike Vince and Matt Berger were there to skate; Dane Collison, Benny Stoddard and myself (Dave Ehrenreich), were there to skate and also document. Brian Caissie was along to shoot photos, claiming ‘veteran’ status, this being his 5th or 6th visit to mainland China. Brian’s grasp on the Chinese language though, still non-existent. That’s not a knock on Brian at all, as he would have had to learn both Mandarin and Cantonese and then know when to apply each – not a simple task. But we did have Will Cui, our real travel visa, the most patient man in history and the only way our trip went smoothly. Mainland China is a daunting travel destination, but once you get there you’ll never want to leave. These photos and video are but a glimpse into our Chinese skateboarding vacation, enjoy.” -dave
